בסמטה קטנה ברחוב אלנבי זכים ממוקמת אחת המסעדות המעניינות ביותר בתל אביב, יש לו סדר יום ברור על דעתו וזה לא רק על האוכל. המקום הוא אקולוגי כלומר כל הרהיטים הם יד שנייה ואין קופסאות טייק-אווי (הם ייתנו לך צלחת רגילה אם אתה רוצה לארוז וללכת … מקווה שתחזירו אותה בחזרה, על סמך אמון בלבד) .

האוכל מצוין, כל המרכיבים באים מן השווקים המקומיים, בסגנון פארם-טו-טייבל כך שהתפריט משתנה לפי העונה.

לא לדלג על חצילים שרופים או תפוחי אדמה קרועים ביד, זה תפוחי האדמה הטובים ביותר בעיר עד עכשיו!

המחירים של זכאים הם לא זולים בלשון המעטה, ומגיעים לקצה העליון של מסעדות שף שאינן מהודרות, אולם המסעדה עושה שימוש במרכיבים אורגניים באיכות הטובה ביותר, כך שאתה יכול להרגיש טוב לגבי ההוצאות על הכסף שלך ועל האוכל.

Located in a small alley in Allenby street Zakaim is one of the most interesting Vegan restaurants in Tel-aviv, it has a clear agenda on its mind and it’s not only about the food. The place is ecological which means that all the furniture are second hand and there are no takeaway boxes (they will give you the restaurants plates if you want to pack and go…hoping you’ll return it back, based on trust only).

The food is excellent, all ingredients are coming from the local markets, Farm-to-table style so the menu constantly changes according to the season.

Don’t skip out the burnt eggplant or the torn by hand potatoes, it’s the best potatoes in the city by far!

Zakaim’s prices are not cheap to say the least, coming to the upper end of the non-fancy chef restaurants, however the restaurant does use the best quality organic ingredients so you can feel good about spending your money on food and agenda…
