Yam Yam is a fun and light seafood restaurant located on Yehuda ha Levi street offering a wide variety of seafood in reasonable prices.

The owners stated in the past that the reason for opening this restaurant on 2015 was because of the high prices seafood products are sold on the various Tel-aviv restaurants. The reason is because Israel don’t have an abundance of seafood in its sea.

The result is that most of the restaurant use frozen seafood and charge them like fresh, this is what Yam Yam is trying to fix.

You can find on the menu items like, shrimps wrapped in bacon skewers, calamari in butter and herbs, mulls in curry butter, new Zealand clams and a few kinds of pasta with seafood.

הבעלים של המקום הצהיר בעבר שהוא פתח את המקום בשנת 2015 בגלל המחירים הגבוהים של מנות פירות הים במסעדות רבות בתל אביב. הסיבה למחירים האלו היא שאין הרבה פירות ים בים בישראל.

כתוצאה מכך הרבה מסעדות משתמשות בפירות ים קפואים מיובאים וגובות עליהם מחירים של פירות ים טריים, וזה הדבר שהמסעדה מנסה לשנות.

בתפריט אפשר למצוא מנות כמו שיפודי שרימפס עטופים בבייקון, קלמרי עם חמאה ועשבי תיבול, מולים בחמאת קארי, צדפות ניו זילנד וכמה פסטות עם פירות ים.
