המקום הוקם לפני 13 שנה, והוא ממוקם ברחוב אלנבי הסואן, אך במסעדה תוכלו להרגיש רק את האווירה ההודית המרגיעה, ולמרות שהתור שם הוא תמידי, אפילו הישראלים שומרים על סבלנותם.

Salam Bombay is what commonly known in India as a “Daba”, which is a small family restaurant designed for the lower working class with cheap prices and soul food.

This is exactly the case of Salam Bombay (Bombay is the former name of Mumbai), in which the owner (which is Jewish Indian) and his wife are working in the kitchen making daily indian dishes for the customers.

The place was founded 13 years ago, it is located in the busy allenby street but in the restaurant you will only feel the relaxing Indian atmosphere so although there is usually a line, even the Israelis keep their voice down.

On the menu, you will find 2 options of Thali, vegetarian and meat, it’s a buffet and you will be handed as much food as you like on your plate.
