Monka is an authentic Bulgarian restaurant which was founded in 1948, and been thru all the the phases of the evolving state of Israel, Tel-aviv and Jaffa.

You can find at Monka some signature dishes like the Shkembe soup (beef soup made out of the cow’s stomach) or the Chorba soup (vegetable bean soup with or without lamb).
The place is offering a delicious variety of meats from the grill, make sure you take the house Kebabs, they are considered to be of the finest in Jaffa. You can also experiment with an inner parts platter on the grill, not many restaurants serve these parts.
