Makom Shel Basar (meaning is a ”Place for meat” in Hebrew), is as its name implies a steakhouse that specializes in exclusive cuts carefully picked by the chef and aged in the restaurant’s special aging fridge.
The Place offers a wide selection of meat cuts, the big steaks are priced by the gram and about $10-$15 per 100 grams, not cheap at all but the quality is superb.
Makom Shel Basar has an affordable lunch menu so if you want to save on costs you can get the same cuts in lower prices during 12:00-16:00 in which the main course also includes first course, side dish and a hot drink after the meal.
Events are available, the place can hold 20-30 people groups and sitting can be either inside the restaurant or outside in the beautiful balcony which overlooks the pastoral Neve Tzedek neighborhood.
