Hummus Habait is translated into homemade hummus (from Hebrew) and was opened by two friends, not from the restaurant world, who met up in college and wanted to open their own place with a clear vision to allow people to enjoy quality fresh hummus.
The small restaurant was opened on the busy Allenby street and serve a variety of dishes. The hummus of course is in a silky-smooth texture and you can get it with a few toppings, like the Mesabaha which is hummus mixed with tahini (usually a lighter version of hummus) and hummus with ful (hummus with a slow cooked fava beans).
In addition to hummus you can find all sorts of Yemenite breads like Jachnun and malawach
