חיים נלו היא אחת ממסעדות הגריל הרומניות המיתולוגיות שנוסדה כבר ב 1960 ועובדת ברצף מאז ועד הים.

המקום התחיל את דרכו כקיוסק על רחוב אילת והיה המקום הראשון שהגיש סטייק בפיתה.

המסעדה מציעה מגוון רחב של מנות רומניות קלאסיות כמו- מיטיטי (קבב רומני עם שום), מרק צ’ורבה מסורתי עם קציצות בשר, נקניקיית פטריצ’יאן, צלעות כבש, ממליגה ועוד.

כל יום בין 12:00-16:00  מוגשות עסקיות צהריים שכוללות מנה ראשונה, עיקרית ושתייה במחיר המנה העיקרית.

The place started its way as a small kiosk on Eilat street and was the first steakhouse which packed a steak into a pita.
