Erez restaurant is one of the old school family joints which preserved the feeling of home cooking and warm attitude during the years.

The restaurant is located in one of the pastoral streets surrounding the Carmel market and serving a variety of Israeli grill dishes and Yemenite food.

You can find a variety of meat on skewers, the old school delicious way, roasted on a charcoal grill and served with two side dishes in less than $8, quite a bargain.

The Yemenite food is authentic, make sure you are not skipping the traditional Yemenite soup and fresh Yemenite pita (extra big and chewy), as well as the house special meatball and okra in tomato sauce.
