Schnitzel Zion is a mythological place on Hayarkon street in Tel-aviv, it’s been around forever, for the last 30 years approximately and been feeding all the Tel-avivians ever since it opened.
Schnitzel is a national food in Israel, but not the Vienna version that is made out of veal, in Israel it’s made out of chicken and you can find it in every Israeli home, kids love it, grownups love it, what’s not to like in a bread crumbs covered fried chicken.
Schnitzel Zion serve only Schnitzel, nothing more than that, huge portion, a plate size schnitzel. You can get it in two versions, in a pita or in a plate with salad and French fries.
The magic of this place is its simplicity and focusing on one popular dish taking it to the excellence.
