Rachmo Hagadol is a legendary hummus restaurant, it’s been around since 1962 serving hummus plates to all the celebrities of the young state of Israel.
The hummus joint had its glory days during the 70’s of the last century and everyone who visited Tel-aviv made a stop in this Hummus shop which was considered the best in the city.
The Hummus is of the thick genre, not smooth like a paste, a bit grainy served with olive oil and lemon dressing.
You can also get in this shop regular falafel and Egyptian falafel which is made out of fava bean and not chickpeas as the regular kind.
There are a variety of Hummus options, plain, Mesabaha (hummus with tahini), Hummus ful (hummus with fava beans dressing) and a delicious hummus with ground lamb.
