Hummus Asli

Hummus Asli or in his full name (Merkaz HaHummus Ha'asli) is a renowned Hummus joint in Jaffa which was opened by a Christian Lebanese which arrive to Jaffa in 1945 and opened his first Hummus on Yefet street in 1963. The Hummus is serving authentic Lebanese style Hummus with a variety of side dishes like meat skewers on the grill, salads, French fries and desserts, stuff that you don't normally find in hummus joints. There are a few Hummus variations, hummus with Tahini (Mesabaha) Humus Ful (hummus with fava beans) and hummus with meat (sliced roasted sirloin). The place is crowded on Saturdays and also own a small room across the street so if the main branch is packed you might want to try your luck in the other location.
