Ba Li Bourekas (translated from Hebrew: I want Bourekas) is a local bakery which is also called Bourekas Abu Shadi as the name of the owner and founder of this bourekas shop.

The bakery was opened in 1988 and it was the first time an Arab opened a Bourekas shop in Yerushalayim Ave. because the bourekas making was controlled exclusively by Bulgarian Jews which brought this addicting pastry back from Bulgaria.

You can find in the bakery all the bourekas variations you have on mind, with a spinach filling (usually the long ones) with Kashkaval cheese (triangle shape) and with potatoes (rectangular shape).

בא לי בורקס היא מאפיה שידועה גם כבורקס אבו שאדי,על שם הבעלים והמיסד של המקום.

המקום נפתח ב 1988 וזאת חנות הבורקס הראשונה ביפו שנפתחה על ידי ערבי, עד אז הבולגרים של יפו שלטו בלעדית בהכנת בורקס בעיר.
