Cicchetti

Cicchetti (meaning of the name is "small plates" in Italian), is the Italian version of a tapas bar, a place where you can drink a good cocktail or Aperol Spritz with a good company and munch on a variety of relatively small inexpensive food. This type of tapas bar joints are common in Venice, it is where you will find a big amount of them but they are spread all over Italy, with a strong sense of fun atmosphere and fun food to accompany your drink. You will find on the menu a variety of tasting plates for a group or order a la carte dishes like Burrata, Arancini, pickled artichokes, a few pasta and risotto dishes and of course the daily specials according to the season.
